Yesterday indeed marked a defining moment in the history of our dear state.
With gratitude and pride, I had the honor of flagging off the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway on behalf of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a project that will not only reconnect our people but reposition Cross River as a thriving economic and maritime hub.

This visionary infrastructure stands as a lifeline of economic growth, a daring commitment to a brighter, stronger Nigeria.

This project is not just a road.
It is a gateway to opportunities, jobs, integration, and growth, stretching across 65km of reinforced concrete, with over 38km within our borders.
It will connect us by land, air, and sea, and bring our Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone to the center of global trade.

I commend President Tinubu for his inclusive vision and commitment to building a Nigeria that works for all.
I also appreciate the workaholic Minister, Federal Ministry of Works, HE Engr. Dave Umahi and HiTech Construction for their swift and transparent mobilization to site without a single naira in mobilization funds.
That’s patriotism in action.

Let this be the beginning of many such bold steps as we continue to demand fairness in federal infrastructure while doing our part to build a better Cross River.
The future is bright, and the journey has begun.
