His Excellency Prince Bassey Edet Otu the governor of Cross River State has embarked on a three week annual leave approved by Cross River House Of Assembly starting from 11 March 2025.
“During this period, my Deputy, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, a trusted and capable leader, will oversee the affairs of our state, ensuring seamless continuity in governance.
This brief moment of rest is essential for renewal, as I remain deeply committed to advancing our People First agenda and driving the progress we all desire. Upon my return, I look forward to continuing the work of building a more prosperous, inclusive, and thriving Cross River State.
